Who can be a member of Club Sports?

Membership in UO Club Sports is open to all incidental fee-paying students of the University of Oregon. UO faculty and staff can participate in clubs that do not have intercollegiate eligibility requirements.

How do I join a club?

To join a club, create an account on Org Sync and find the club you are interested in.

All club members must complete a Club Sports Registration Form to be an active club member.

How much does it cost to join a club?

Membership dues vary for each club. Higher dues can be expected for club sports that require a lot of equipment, special facilities, and plan to travel frequently. Some clubs do not collect any dues. Fundraising efforts will help reduce out of pocket expenses for members.

Generally, annual member dues range from $0-$1000.00 per year.

How are the clubs funded?

Clubs are funded through the following means:
• Student incidental fees
• Club fundraising projects
• Club dues or membership fees
• Some out-of-pocket expenses

Do I have to be an expert player to join a club?

No. There is no minimum athletic skill level required for participation. Many clubs recruit beginners and teach them the basics of a new sport.

How do I start a new club?

The program reviews new club requests club sport if there is sufficient student interest/participation in the sport, and facilities to support the activity.

There are several factors to take into consideration when forming a new club such as gaining interest, start-up costs, practice location, etc. A club must have a Club President and Treasurer.

Turf and Grass Fields

Turf and Grass Fields

The turf fields are located in between the Student Recreation Center and Hayward Field. Grass fields are towards 18th St. from the Turf Fields.

Student Tennis Courts

The Student Tennis Courts are located behind the Rec Center.

Riverfront Field

Riverfront Field is across Franklin Blvd from campus, West of the ramp to the Autzen footbridge.

Eugene Ice Rink

The Eugene Ice Rink is located at the Fairgrounds at 769 W 13th Ave.
