Men's Water Polo Sweeps Home Tournament

Eugene -- The Oregon men's club water polo team won all four matches in their home tournament at the Amazon Pool on Saturday and Sunday, October 3rd and 4th. Oregon beat the Univeristy of Portland 20-0, Washington State 21-8, Central Washington 18-3 and Oregon State 14-8.

Bass fishing team takes fourth in California tournament

Oakley, CA - The Club Bass Fishing team took home $3,000 in prize money for their fourth place finish in an FLW College Fishing Event. Ross Richards and Reed Frazier caught a combined six bass, weighing a total of 12 pounds. They finished behind Fresno State, who won the tournament with four bass and a combined weight just over 19 pounds.

Women's Ultimate Takes Third at Nationals

Columbus, Ohio - The women's ultimate club advanced to the semifinals in the UPA College Championships by beating a strong Ottowa team 14-12. Oregon eventually lost to UC Santa Barbara in the semifinals. UCSB went on the win the championship the next day while the Ducks finished well ahead of their sixth place ranking, taking third overall.

Oregon Men's Lacrosse Falls to BYU

Denver, CO. - The 15th seeded Oregon men's lacrosse team was overtaken by a strong number two seeded Brigham Young University in the first round of the Collegiate Lacrosse Association National Tournament. The Ducks kept the match close until partway through the second period when the BYU offense took over, eventually winning the game 12-3. Despite the loss, the Ducks came home with several players earning All-Conference and All-American honors, as well as high hopes for the young team's future.
