Women's Ultimate Takes Third at Nationals

Columbus, Ohio - The women's ultimate club advanced to the semifinals in the UPA College Championships by beating a strong Ottowa team 14-12. Oregon eventually lost to UC Santa Barbara in the semifinals. UCSB went on the win the championship the next day while the Ducks finished well ahead of their sixth place ranking, taking third overall.

Oregon Men's Lacrosse Falls to BYU

Denver, CO. - The 15th seeded Oregon men's lacrosse team was overtaken by a strong number two seeded Brigham Young University in the first round of the Collegiate Lacrosse Association National Tournament. The Ducks kept the match close until partway through the second period when the BYU offense took over, eventually winning the game 12-3. Despite the loss, the Ducks came home with several players earning All-Conference and All-American honors, as well as high hopes for the young team's future.

Women's water polo places third at club championships

Davis, CA - After a dominant season in the Northwest Division, the women's club waterpolo team took third place in the National Collegiate Club Championships. Their victory over Texas and then Utah put them in the semi-finals against second-ranked Notre Dame. The Ducks lost the match 8-1 but returned the next day to dominate Pennsylvania 7-3 to win the game and finish third overall at the Championships.

Cycling Qualifies for Nationals

The Oregon club cycling team won the Division I team omnium in the Northwest Collegiate Cycling Conference. Their A team, made up of Will Neimann-Ross, Davis Kuhns, Galen Mitterman, Lenny Stewart and Rachelle Hobson, qualified for natioanls which will take place in Fort Collins, Colorado from May 8th through May 10th. Men's Lacrosse Advances to Nationals

Tacoma, WA - The Oregon Men's Lacrosse team beat Washington 10-9, advancing to the final game against Simon Faser, looking for a berth to the natioanl tournament. On Sunday, May 3rd, Oregon battled SFU, making several come-backs to tie the game but ultimately lost 11-7. But a strong performance by Oregon brought the reward of a 15th seeding at nationals in Denver. Bass Fishing

Brothers Carter and Ryan Troughton took second for the University club bass fishing team at the National Guard-FLW College Fishing Western Division Tournament on Lake Roosevelt in Arizona last Saturday, earning themselves an entry into the Western Regional Championship and netting the school and the bass fishing team each $2,500.
